As a self-taught chef, Beth enjoys exploring the diverse culinary traditions from around the world.
Beth began practicing yoga 9 years ago and after having back surgery in 2007, she explored her practice as a therapeutic healing method. She has since discovered that by integrating her passion for nutrition with her yoga practice she has been able to strengthen and align her mind and body and to help prevent illness and injury.
She understands that every individual is unique, and therefore tailors wellness plans to meet each person’s needs, lifestyle and goals. Some of the elements emphasized in wellness planning include healthy eating practices, exploring relationships to food and our food system, adopting a positive belief system, learning self-care, practicing yoga and pranayama (breath work) and discovering balanced, mindful and joyful living.
